Joint birthday party with Siobhan the weekend before the big day. Two hours of eating karaage and plenty of drinks, along with some awesome company. Afterwards, went out and did some more drinking at our nijikai and even got some birthday cake slices on the house. It was definitely a fun night, and a good way to celebrate after all that has happened recently.
On the actual day, our friend Thabisa was celebrating her birthday as well, and so we went off karaoking afterwards. I haven't gone in so long- so I had a blast! Not to mention the whole thing was uber cheap wit ha drink bar. Afterwards, went out for sushi for the first time since before the earthquake, and had my fill of fish.
Later that night, I tried to buy some drinks from the supermarket and ended up getting carded. What were the odds?
The following days would be filled with Skype drinking with friends back home. We drank early in the morning due to the time difference, and I had a buzz almost the entire weekend haha.
